Apple Granola Clusters

The bright, sweet flavor of apples shine in these crispy granola clusters. The secret weapon is Sauk Farms Apple Powder, infusing honeycrisp in every bite. Spices, grains, nuts, and seeds make nutritious delicious!

 

INGREDIENTS

 

  • 2 tablespoons of butter

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon brown rice syrup

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats

  • 2 plain rice cakes, crumbled (1 cup)

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds

  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds

  • 1/4 cup flax seeds

  • 1 package Sauk Farm Dried Apples, chopped

  • 3 tablespoon Sauk Farm Apple Powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

  • 1/8 teaspoon cloves

  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

PREPARATION

 

Heat oven to 325°F.

 

1. In a small saucepan, bring the butter, honey, brown rice syrup, and brown sugar to a gentle bowl. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla and salt.

2. Spread the oats on a sheet pan. Toast in the oven for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, mix the remaining dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Fold in the oats, followed by the warm syrup. 

​

3. Line the sheet pan with parchment paper or silicone mat. Press the mixture into an even layer onto the pan.

​

4. Bake 25 minutes until the top is lightly browned. Remove and cool completely before breaking apart into clusters. Store in an airtight container.
