Homemade Apple Sauce

6 Medium Honeycrisp Apples

1/3 Cup Sauk Farm Apple Cider

2/3 Cup Sugar

1/4 Tsp Cinnamon

1/8 Tsp Cloves

DIRECTIONS

1. Quarter and core all apples, then cut apples into 1/8-inch slices.
2. Place the sliced apples into a large pot and mix in all remaining ingredients. Bring apples to a boil and immediately reduce heat, cover and let simmer for 10-15 minutes.
3. Remove from heat. Mash with potato masher or put it into blender for a finer product. (Such as baby food). You can serve warm or chilled. It may also be preserved by canning the apple sauce.
This a simple but delicious recipe is great for children and babies. It can easily be preserved for later consumption by being canned.
