Apple Cider Doughnut Holes
INGREDIENTS

Doughnuts
-
1 Cup Sugar
-
4 Tbsp Butter
-
4 Large Eggs
-
4 Cups All Purpose Flour
-
4 Tsp Baking Powder
-
1 Tsp Salt
-
1 Cup Sauk Farm Apple Cider
-
1/2 Cup Oil
Spiced Sugar
-
1 Cup Sugar
-
2 Tbsp Cinnamon
-
1/4 Tsp Nutmeg
DIRECTIONS

1. Whisk together spiced sugar ingredients and set aside.
2. In a Kitchen Aid mixing bowl, add sugar and butter. Mix on medium speed until crumbly. Add eggs one at a time. In another medium bowl, add the remaining dry ingredients and whisk them together. Once combined, slowly add sugar mixture and apple cider.
3. In a small cast-iron skillet or high walled kitchen pan, add enough oil to create a ½ inch oil layer. Heat oil on medium high heat till it reaches 350°F. Using a small cookie dough scooper (about the size of a tablespoon) scoop out four balls and carefully place them in pan. Flip doughnuts every 30 seconds, then remove from the pan and place on a plate covered in paper towels.
4. Once the oil has been drained off of the doughnuts and cooled for 5 mins, roll them around in the spiced sugar. Then enjoy.
